Introduction

The table provides information about the volume of passengers that utilised three prominent airports in Germany from 2007 to 2012.

Overview

A general examination of the data reveals that all three airports experienced an increase in passenger numbers over the period. However, the growth rate varied, with one airport witnessing a much more significant rise compared to the others.

Body 1

Looking more closely, Frankfurt Airport saw a steady increase in travellers from 54 million in 2007 to 57 million in 2009, and then a sharp rise to 65 million in 2012. Munich Airport also experienced growth, but at a slower pace, with passenger numbers climbing from 34 million in 2007 to 38 million in 2012.

Body 2

In contrast, Düsseldorf Airport had a relatively stagnant growth rate, with the number of passengers only increasing from 18 million in 2007 to 20 million in 2012. Despite this, it is noteworthy to mention that none of the airports saw a decrease in passenger numbers during the observed period.
