Introduction

The diagram provides information about the hourly usage of London Underground Station on an ordinary day.

Overview

The general trend shows two peak periods of usage, with a significant dip in between, and the least number of users during the early morning and late night hours. The highest number of commuters is observed during the morning and evening rush hours.

Body 1

During the early morning hours, from midnight to 5 am, the station witnesses the least traffic with the number of users gradually increasing from 6 am. The usage reaches its pinnacle between 8 am and 9 am, with approximately 400 people per hour. Following this peak, there is a steady decline until 2 pm, after which the numbers start to rise again.

Body 2

The second surge in station usage takes place in the evening, with the highest number of users recorded between 6 pm and 7 pm. This is followed by a gradual decrease in the number of commuters as the night progresses, reaching the lowest point again around midnight.
