My routine involves setting aside specific blocks of time each day for different subjects or tasks. I also make sure to include regular breaks to prevent burnout and keep my mind fresh.
Are you able to stick to your study routine daily?

Part 3 · Discussion
4 to 5 minutes. The examiner asks broader questions linked to the cue card topic.
What makes a good neighbour different from a good friend?
That's an interesting question! The qualities of a good neighbour and a good friend can indeed be quite different. A good neighbour is often someone who practices mutual respect and understands the importance of maintaining a peaceful living environment. For instance, being considerate about noise levels or keeping the shared spaces tidy can really make a difference in how comfortable everyone feels in a community. On the other hand, a good friend typically embodies qualities like trustworthiness and emotional support. Friends are those with whom we share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences on a deeper level. While neighbours can be friendly and helpful, friendships tend to require a stronger bond, where loyalty and understanding play a pivotal role. So, in essence, while both relationships are valuable, they fulfill different social needs in our lives!
How much do people in your country appreciate having a good neighbor?
In my country, having a good neighbour is often seen as a vital aspect of community life. People generally cherish the idea of neighbourly relationships, as they can significantly enhance one's quality of life. A supportive neighbour can provide assistance in times of need, whether that’s helping with groceries or looking after your pets when you're away. Moreover, the sense of belonging that comes from good neighbourly ties fosters a more cohesive and harmonious environment. In many localities, community events are organized to strengthen these bonds, highlighting just how much we value those connections.
How do friendly neighbours help build a community?
Good neighbours play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. When people feel comfortable with those living nearby, it encourages social interactions and builds trust among residents. For instance, a friendly wave or a casual chat can transform a mundane day into a more connected experience. Moreover, good neighbours often come together to support one another during tough times, whether it’s lending a helping hand or simply being there to listen. This kind of camaraderie not only strengthens individual bonds but also cultivates a sense of belonging, making the community feel more like a family. Ultimately, it's these small, everyday connections that contribute significantly to the overall cohesion of a community.
Why do some people have a hard time being good neighbours?
Some individuals might find it challenging to be good neighbours due to a variety of factors. For one, differences in lifestyle preferences can lead to misunderstandings or conflicts. For instance, someone who values peace and quiet might struggle to coexist with a neighbour who enjoys loud music or late-night gatherings. Furthermore, not everyone has the same level of social awareness; some people may simply not realize how their actions affect those living around them. Additionally, busy schedules can make it difficult for individuals to engage in community-building activities, which are essential for fostering a sense of camaraderie. Overall, it often boils down to a lack of communication and understanding, which can create barriers to being a considerate neighbour.
What might happen in neighborhoods if being a good neighbor becomes less common?
If the concept of a good neighbour becomes less common, we might see a significant shift in the sense of community within neighborhoods. People may become more isolated and less willing to engage with one another, leading to an overall decline in social interactions. This could result in a more fragmented society where individuals prioritize their own lives over communal ties, which might diminish the support networks that typically arise in close-knit communities. Additionally, crime rates might increase as neighbors are less likely to look out for one another, creating an environment of distrust. Overall, the essence of community living could be severely impacted, leaving many feeling disconnected and alone.
What steps can communities take to help neighbours get along better?
To foster better relationships among neighbours, communities can implement a variety of engaging initiatives. For instance, organizing neighbourhood events such as block parties or seasonal festivals can create a vibrant atmosphere where people can connect and share experiences. Additionally, establishing community gardens not only beautifies the area but also encourages residents to collaborate and bond over a shared interest. It’s also beneficial to promote local groups or clubs that cater to different hobbies, providing a platform for neighbours to interact regularly. Ultimately, fostering open communication is vital, so creating platforms for residents to voice concerns and share ideas can significantly enhance community ties.
