4 to 5 minutes. The examiner asks about you and familiar topics.
Can you tell me your full name?
Where are you from?
Do you work or are you a student?
What kind of entertainment do you prefer, TV or radio?
I would have to say that I prefer TV over radio. I find that the visual aspect of television adds an extra layer of engagement and immersion to the content that I am watching. However, I do appreciate the convenience and simplicity of listening to the radio, especially when I am on the go or doing other tasks.
How are radio programs and television programs different?
Well, one of the most obvious differences between radio programs and television programs is the presence of visual elements on television. Television programs also tend to be more elaborate in terms of production value and special effects, whereas radio programs rely solely on audio to convey their message. Additionally, television programs often have a wider range of genres and formats, such as dramas, comedies, and reality shows, whereas radio programs tend to be more limited in this regard.
What programs do you like to listen/watch?
I enjoy watching a variety of programs, but some of my favorites include crime dramas, comedies, and reality shows. I also enjoy watching documentaries and current affairs programs to stay informed about what is happening in the world. In terms of radio programs, I enjoy listening to music and talk shows, as well as news and weather updates.
Do you prefer TV news or news on the radio?
I would have to say that I prefer TV news over news on the radio. I find that the visuals and graphics used in TV news broadcasts help to better convey the information and give me a better understanding of the events that are being reported. Additionally, I find that TV news programs often provide more in-depth coverage and analysis of the stories they are reporting on. However, I do appreciate the convenience and immediacy of listening to news updates on the radio when I am on the go or away from a TV.
What kind of TV programs do you like?
I am quite the eclectic viewer when it comes to TV programs. I enjoy a wide range of genres, from crime dramas and action-packed thrillers to comedic sitcoms and thought-provoking documentaries. I also have a fondness for historical dramas and foreign productions, as they often offer a unique perspective and cultural insight.
Do you often watch programs on TV or on your smartphone?
I tend to watch TV programs on both my TV and smartphone, depending on the situation. If I'm at home and have some free time, I'll usually watch on my TV, as the larger screen and surround sound enhance the viewing experience. However, if I'm on the go or have a shorter amount of time, I'll watch on my smartphone. It's a convenient way to catch up on my favorite shows while I'm commuting or waiting for an appointment.
Do you like watching the same kind of TV programs all the time?
Not at all. I thrive on variety, so I like to watch different types of programs and explore new genres. I find that constantly switching things up keeps my interest piqued and prevents me from getting bored. I also enjoy the surprise and excitement of discovering new programs that I might not have otherwise considered.
Do you talk with your friends about the TV programs that you watch?
Absolutely. I find that discussing TV programs with my friends is a great way to bond and share my interests. It's also a great way to discover new programs, as my friends often recommend shows that they think I'll enjoy. Additionally, discussing the themes, characters, and plotlines of a show can lead to some interesting and thought-provoking conversations.
You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes. You have one minute to think about what you are going to say. You can make some notes to help you if you wish.

How do people's feelings of excitement change depending on their personality traits?
Feelings of excitement can vary significantly among individuals, largely influenced by their personality traits. For instance, extroverted individuals often experience excitement in social settings, thriving on the energy of others, while introverts might find excitement in more solitary activities, like reading a gripping novel or exploring nature. Additionally, those with a more adventurous spirit may seek out thrilling experiences, such as extreme sports, whereas individuals who are more risk-averse might find excitement in safe, yet stimulating environments, like visiting a museum or attending a concert. It's fascinating how these differences shape not only how we experience excitement but also how we engage with the world around us. Ultimately, understanding these nuances can foster greater empathy and connection among people with varying outlooks and preferences.
Some people think that being excited can cause quick decisions. What do you think about this idea?
Absolutely, I think there's a strong connection between excitement and impulsive decisions. When people are caught up in a moment of thrill or enthusiasm, it can cloud their judgment, leading them to make choices they might not consider in a calmer state. This is particularly evident in scenarios like spontaneous travel or last-minute purchases, where the rush of emotions takes over rational thinking. However, while impulsiveness can sometimes lead to regrettable outcomes, it can also result in serendipitous experiences that enrich our lives. So, it really depends on the context—some impulsive decisions can turn out to be incredibly rewarding!
How important do you think excitement is for improving a person's overall life experience?
Excitement plays a crucial role in enhancing one’s overall life experience, as it often fuels our desire to explore new opportunities and embrace change. When we feel excited, whether it’s about a new job, a travel adventure, or even just meeting friends, we tend to be more engaged and open-minded. This heightened state of enthusiasm can lead to memorable experiences and cherished moments that shape our personal growth. Moreover, excitement can also foster stronger connections with others, as shared experiences create lasting bonds. Ultimately, it’s this zest for life that can truly transform mundane routines into extraordinary adventures!
Why do some events or experiences make people feel more excited?
Certain events or experiences evoke stronger feelings of excitement in people for a variety of reasons. Firstly, many of these moments are tied to personal milestones or achievements, such as weddings or graduations, which can create a profound sense of emotional fulfillment. Additionally, the element of novelty plays a significant role; when we encounter something new or unexpected, our brains release dopamine, heightening our sense of excitement. Moreover, shared experiences with friends or loved ones can amplify our emotions, making us feel more connected and engaged. Ultimately, it’s this combination of personal significance, novelty, and social interaction that sparks those intense feelings of excitement.
How could future technology change how people feel excitement?
Future technological advancements are poised to revolutionize how we experience excitement in profound ways. For instance, with the rise of virtual reality (VR), people can immerse themselves in exhilarating environments that were previously unimaginable. Imagine being able to skydive over the Grand Canyon or explore the depths of the ocean from the comfort of your living room! Moreover, advancements in social media and online gaming are likely to foster a sense of global connectedness that amplifies feelings of excitement, as individuals can share and partake in thrilling experiences together, regardless of geographical barriers. Overall, as technology evolves, it will undoubtedly create new avenues for adventure and exhilaration, enriching our lives in ways we can't fully fathom yet.
What steps can people take to create more excitement in their everyday lives?
To cultivate a sense of excitement in our daily lives, individuals can start by embracing new experiences. This could be as simple as trying out a new hobby or exploring different cuisines. Engaging in activities outside of one's comfort zone often leads to a sense of broadening horizons, which can be incredibly invigorating. Additionally, setting personal challenges, like completing a marathon or learning a musical instrument, can instill a sense of purpose and achievement. Finally, surrounding oneself with positive, enthusiastic people can create an uplifting environment that naturally fosters excitement and joy in everyday life.
