What do you most enjoy doing with other people?
I absolutely love exploring new places and trying new things with my friends. Whether it's going on a hike, trying a new restaurant, or even just going for a walk in a new neighborhood, I find that the experience is always so much more enjoyable when I'm with other people. I think it's because we can share in the excitement and discovery together, and it makes everything more memorable.
Do you prefer studying with other people or on your own?
I definitely prefer studying with other people. I find that when I'm working on a difficult assignment or trying to understand a complex concept, having someone else to bounce ideas off of and ask questions of is incredibly valuable. Plus, working in a group can be a lot more fun and motivating than working alone.
Would you like a job that involves working with a lot of people?

Do you have enough time for doing things with your friends?
I try my best to make time for my friends, but sometimes it can be difficult. I work a lot and I have a lot of other responsibilities, so it can be hard to find the time to hang out with my friends as much as I'd like. But I always make sure to prioritize my relationships with my friends, and I try to make sure that I'm always making time for the people that are most important to me.
What sports do you like?
Oh, I absolutely adore sports! My favorites are definitely soccer and tennis. I love the thrill of the game and the adrenaline rush it gives me.
Where did you learn how to do it?
I learned how to play soccer and tennis through various youth programs in my local community. I also had some great coaches who helped me develop my skills and improve my technique.
Did you do any sport when you were young?
Yes, I was very active as a child. I played soccer and tennis, as well as other sports like basketball and volleyball. It was always a big part of my life and I loved being part of a team.
Do you think students need more exercise?
Absolutely! Exercise is so important for physical and mental well-being, and I think students can benefit greatly from incorporating more physical activity into their daily routine. Whether it's through organized sports or simply going for a daily walk or run, regular exercise can help students stay healthy and focused in school.

What is it
One thing that I have always wanted to do is to travel to the picturesque region of Ladakh in India. The rugged beauty of the Himalayas has always captivated me, and I have a strong desire to experience the unique culture and stunning landscapes of this remote area. The thought of exploring ancient monasteries, pristine lakes, and high mountain passes fills me with a sense of adventure and wonder.
Why do you want to do it
My fascination with Ladakh stems from my love for nature and my thirst for exploration. The stark contrast between the barren mountains and the vibrant blue skies creates a breathtaking backdrop that I long to witness in person. Additionally, the rich Buddhist heritage of the region intrigues me, and I am eager to learn more about the spiritual traditions that have thrived in this challenging environment for centuries.
What steps have you taken towards achieving it
To work towards fulfilling my dream of visiting Ladakh, I have started saving money specifically for this trip. I have also been researching the best time to visit, the must-see attractions, and the local customs and traditions to ensure that I make the most of my experience. Part 3 · Discussion
4 to 5 minutes. The examiner asks broader questions linked to the cue card topic.
How do people's goals differ based on their cultural backgrounds?
Aspirations can differ significantly across cultures due to various factors like values, traditions, and social structures. For instance, in some cultures, there is a strong emphasis on family and community, leading individuals to aspire towards roles that support their loved ones, such as becoming a caregiver or a provider. In contrast, other cultures may prioritize individual achievement and personal success, motivating people to pursue careers in competitive fields like technology or entrepreneurship. Additionally, cultural norms can influence educational aspirations; for example, in cultures that value academic excellence, students might aim for prestigious university degrees. Ultimately, these differences enrich the global tapestry of human ambition, showcasing how diverse backgrounds can shape our dreams and goals in unique ways.
How important do you think chasing your dreams is for feeling fulfilled in life?
Pursuing one's dreams is absolutely essential for personal fulfillment, in my opinion. When individuals chase their passions, they often experience a profound sense of purpose and motivation that can significantly enhance their overall well-being. It’s not just about achieving goals; it’s about the journey and the growth that comes with it. Moreover, fulfilling one's dreams can lead to a stronger sense of identity and self-worth, as it allows people to express their true selves and cultivate their unique talents. Ultimately, when we engage in what we love, it enriches not only our own lives but also positively impacts those around us, creating a ripple effect of inspiration and enthusiasm.
How important is it for people to have hobbies or aims in their lives?
Having passions or goals in life is absolutely crucial for personal fulfillment and growth. They act as a guiding light, providing direction and motivation in our daily routines. When individuals pursue their passions, they often experience a sense of purpose that can lead to greater happiness and satisfaction. Moreover, having clear goals can help people navigate challenges and setbacks, turning obstacles into opportunities for personal development. In essence, passions and goals not only enrich our lives but also foster resilience, enabling us to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Why do you think a lot of people are afraid to chase their lifelong dreams?
There are several reasons why many individuals hesitate to pursue their lifelong dreams. Firstly, there’s often a palpable fear of failure that looms large in their minds. This fear can be incredibly paralyzing, especially when they think about the potential risks involved in stepping outside their comfort zone. Additionally, societal pressures and expectations can weigh heavily on people, leading them to prioritize stability over passion. Finally, some may lack the necessary resources or support systems to take that leap, which can further dampen their enthusiasm. Ultimately, it’s a combination of internal and external factors that can make chasing dreams seem daunting.
What would happen in society if more people went after their goals?
If more people actively pursued their aspirations, we could see a significant shift in societal dynamics and overall well-being. For one, there would likely be an increase in personal fulfillment, as individuals engage in work and activities that resonate with their passions. This could foster a sense of community spirit, as people often collaborate and support one another in their journeys, leading to stronger social bonds. Additionally, a society where aspirations are prioritized may become more innovative, as diverse ideas and perspectives flourish when individuals feel empowered to chase their dreams. Ultimately, this could contribute to a more vibrant economy, driven by creativity and passion rather than mere necessity.
What can we do to help people chase their dreams more actively?
To encourage individuals to follow their dreams more actively, it’s crucial to create an environment that fosters self-belief and motivation. One of the most effective steps is to promote positive role models who have successfully pursued their passions. This can inspire others to take the leap towards their own aspirations. Additionally, providing access to resources such as mentorship programs, workshops, and online courses can significantly enhance their skills and confidence. Lastly, cultivating a culture that celebrates creativity and innovation would empower individuals to take risks and chase their dreams without fear of failure. Ultimately, it’s about creating a supportive community that encourages everyone to strive for their goals!
