The bar chart provides information about the alterations in the proportion of foreign students who graduated from universities in various provinces of Canada from 2001 to 2006.
The most striking feature is that all provinces experienced an increase in the percentage of international university graduates, with the exception of Alberta. Furthermore, some provinces saw significant growth, while others had only a slight rise.
In 2001, New Brunswick had the lowest percentage of international graduates, but by 2006, it had the highest growth rate, increasing by nearly 200%. Similarly, British Columbia and Manitoba also witnessed a substantial rise in the proportion of overseas students graduating, with increments of approximately 120% and 100% respectively.
On the other hand, Alberta was the only province where the percentage of international graduates declined, decreasing by about 5%. Meanwhile, the growth rate in Nova Scotia and Quebec was relatively modest, with both provinces experiencing an increase of roughly 20%.
