The diagrams illustrate the steps and tools utilized in the production of cement and how this cement is then employed to create concrete for construction purposes.
The overall process of cement production involves several stages including crushing, mixing, heating, grinding, and bagging, with specific equipment used at each stage. Conversely, the production of concrete is a simpler process that involves mixing four ingredients in a concrete mixer.
In the cement-making process, limestone and clay are crushed into a powder, mixed together, and then heated in a rotating heater. Following this, the mixture is ground into cement, and finally packed in bags. The machinery involved in this process includes a crusher, a mixer, a rotating heater, a grinder, and a bagging machine.
In contrast, the process of making concrete involves fewer steps and less equipment. The ingredients, namely cement, water, sand, and small stones, are mixed together in a concrete mixer to produce concrete. This process does not require any heating or grinding, making it less complex than the cement-making process.
